Site Owner Posts: 236 | Jordan, and Cerah continued running until they reached an alleyway. "This way," Jordan said as he started running to the alley. Before the two could run any further, they were stopped by 2 more thugs. "Wrong turn," one of the thugs said as the 2 people from the restaurant showed up. "Bloody hell," Cerah said noticing their situation. "You were supposed to get them without making a scene," the other thug said. "Well they're here now. Let's just hurry before the boss gets impatient," another thug said getting closer to Jordan, and Cerah. They stopped moving when they heard a clicking sound. They looked over at what looked like their leader, and noticed he had his hands up. "Slade," Jordan said noticing Slade standing behind the man. "I'd advise you to call of your boys so things can't get ugly," Slade said pointing his revolver at the thug boss's head. "I think that's a good idea. Boys, let's go," the boss said, and started leaving with his friends. "Thanks Slade," Cerah said sounding exhausted from running. "No problem. Let's get out of here before they come back with more men," Slade suggested as he holstered his gun. "Yeah. I agree," Jordan said as the three started walking back to their house. "So this would be the 5th date ruined?" Slade asked as he followed Jordan. "4th. Let's just go home," Cerah answered feeling irritated. "We should be closer to home now," Jordan said trying to keep Slade from asking more questions about their issues with Lavendar's timing on when to send people after them. | |
