Among the mysterious, and unkown

cynthia left the library front doors and walked down the street half a block to a food court there and bought a pizza and a sprite. cynthia carried her food over to a wall a quarter of the way back towards the library and sat down leaning on the wall eatting her pizza.

"Next time let's pick a more nearby restaurant for a date," Cerah said as the three continued walking. "Don't worry. We're almost home," Jordan said getting a little ahead of the others. "Wonder how Lavendar convinced those men to join her," Cerah said falling slightly behind. "Those guys were mundane. Fairly easy to glamour people like those to do what you want," Slade said remembering what he learned at hunter academy. "Would you be considered rogue if you killed them?" Cerah asked still curious on the hunter laws. "Yeah. But I have some self restraint to avoid that," Slade answered without looking back. "Let's discuss that later when we're back at the house," Jordan said noticing a girl sitting against a wall.

cnthia felt eyes on her and tured in that direction. she looked around and saw three people down the street. cynthia was curious why they would be watching her but she didnt worry about it cynthia threw her plate away and quickly finished off her soda. cynthia threw that in the trash also. and a man talking on the phone bummped inot her cynthia saw him getting hit by a car as he was trying to cross the street. cynthia quickly walked over to the man who was just about to step off the curb, cynthia grabbed the back of his shirt and pulled him back just as the car came skidding around the corner. cynthia sighed and disappeard into the crown surounding the man and went back over to the food court and bought another sprite. cynthia walked back over to her seat and sat back down sighing and muttering. "stupid people should pay attention to where thay are walking. i cant believe it two correct futures in one day. urrrgh...well maybe two but at least one."

"What the hell?" Slade sald noticing a crowd around a man. As they started to scan their surroundings, they noticed the same girl hardly paying attention to the crowd. "I'll go see what's going on," Slade said as he started walking towards the girl. Once Slade got to her, he said, "Hey."

cynthia looked up "hi. can i help you?"

"Yeah. My name is Slade. Slade Thomas. Do you know what's going on with that crowd?" Slade said sitting next to the girl. "I'd also like to know our name," he added in a polite tone.

"hi slade. a guy almost got ran over but thats all i know." cynthia smiled "im cynthia. cynthia dennis."

"Cynthia...lovely name," Slade said figuring she wasn't entirely honest. "So where are you from?" he asked politely trying to get some more answers from her.

"sorry slade but i dont give out information like that to just any one not until i know why they want to know that. so why do you want to know?" cynthia asked taking a drink of her pop.

mika stiffened. "did you say mundanes?" cynthia turned to slade and looked at him " i dont know where i am from i was raised with adoptive parents in idaho. and i think you are one of the other races. am i right?" cynthia turned and looked at the crowd that had begun dispersing once they realized everything was ok. " i have never met another non mundane before." cynthia quietly whispered.

cynthia was silent for a minute " i know there are diffrent races out there from the news and all that. i didnt know there were hunters, knew about vampires and werewolves. but honestly i only know that i can see the past and possible futures so i am not sure what i am. how do you tell if the are not mundanes?" cynthia asked keeping her head down.

cynthia perked up "Wait an actual werewolf?! and a spell caster! i can really meet them?" cynthia stood up and threw the paper cup away since it was empty. "and i stayed out of the crowed cause i dont want the guy to recognize me...so i can really meet other people who are special?"

cynthia took his hand and smiled "sounds good to me id like to be able to finally meet other supernaturals."

"hi. honestly its my pleasure to meet you." cynthia whispered in slades ear "i hope i didnt get you in trouble sorry." cynthia turned to cerah "hi cerah its nice to meet you i have never met a werewolf before."cynthia smiled even more.
