Among the mysterious, and unkown

cynthia was running holding her hand to her abdomin to stop it from swinging around and arkz wasrunning beside her. they had gone several blocks with out any sound of someone chasing them and they ran several more when cynthia slowed down and leaned agianst a wall breathing heavily"hey......arkz.......where...........are......we.....gonna.............go?" cynthia asked between breaths

Alex seemed to have no trouble with her speed of running. "Hmm, well we could go to any motel or hotel really, I have my wallet which has a special paper from my master Yin... it was a parting gift from Japan.." He said patting his wallet at his side. with a smile, Saimax was sleeping and was now snoring, "althought what i'm wondering is how a sword can snore... or sleep for that matter..." Alex finishes...

"so thats what that sound has been."cynthia said still getting her breath back. "ok uhm lets go to the next store we come by and see if they have some first aid kits or things like that then go to wherever and get something to eat then we can find a place to sleep sound good?" cynthia asked arkz

Alex smiled slightly and just gave a nod "Yeah that's fine, Oh and don't worry about other people hearing Sai, only those who've touched his hilt and those he feels good intent from can hear his voice... Though I think he is lieing..." Alex says glaring at the sword, then something occurs to him. "Do you want me to carry you to the store? It would be no problem for me really.."

" i only hurt my wrist so you dont have to carry me. and i didnt hear him in the library so maybe its just who he wants to hear him unless they touch his hilt then no matter what they hear him. lets get walking its l.a. so there has to be a store somewhere close by." cynthia started walking "hey arks. why did you choose to help me? you have no reason to do so and you could get hurt."

Alex begins walking with her and catches up by her side "Sai seems to trust you, and that's all I need, plus you don't seem all that bad, you don't even look like you could do something horrible, I can't let something horrible happen to a girl who can barley defend herself anyways, I'd lose my honor if I did, Also... Maybe two seers can see the future better.. like.. ya know.. maybe our visions will be more accurate if we are near each other, but who knows..." Alex was begning to think about a way to improve the accuracy of his visions but then sighs giving up on the thought "Also, i don't care if I get hurt, it's something natual to me, If you could see all the scars on my back and my chest you'd be shocked... My master wasn't a easy guy to please, I've fought tooth and nail to impress him... I've killed more then 40 Mundanes, Werewolves, Spellcasters, other seers, and vampires... All because of my master... but I'm no longer his apprentice" Alex finished looking down at Saimax and then at his hands while walking at her side.

"hey arkz i didnt mean to depress  you. and i have just never been in a fight before is all i learn fast. plus i can fake my way through just about anything. oohh look a store!"cynthia grabbed arkz wrist and pulled him into the store looking around cynthia decided to be lazy and ask the guy at the cashier where any ace bandages were. cynthia let go of arkz and walked up to the counter "excuse me are there any ace bandages in the store?" the guy just pionted to the back isle cynthia quickly ran back there and grabbed one of the bandages. coming back to the front cynthias stomach growled cynthia grabbed two cups of noodles from the rack beside her and placed everythin on the counter the guy rang it all up and cynthia payed she turned to arkz "alright im done we can go." cynthia smiled and started walking

he slowly followed her and smiled then spoke out an idea "I have an idea, Why don't I teach you how to fight with a sword? it'll be handie if you get into a fight with her goons, I'll teach  you ways to disable them but not kill them if that makes you happy... I could also teach you how to use other things too..." he said with a smile, his blue eyes seemed to shine in the light.

"yeah? i think that would be usefull! it will be great to be able to know i wont hurt myself everytiime i puch someone."cynthia gestured with her hurt hand and winced a little. "besides ive always loved swords...well and guns." cynthia smiled agian "i just hated hurting people."

"It's not that hard to learn how to use a sword, it's different though... You have to understand your sword, feel the emotions from within yourself and the sword, The sword is a weapon of the heart not the mind or the body, I've never won a fight with a sword using pure strength or stragitcally, it all came from the heart... and his big mouth..." Alex said laughing a little, but began to get serious. "I also know how to use guns, I can teach you a few tricks to them, But i'm not a big fan of them really, Not when Saimax and I have blocked bullets with our blade hehe.. though it was a one time thing... and we were in a state of how to put it... Extreme focus as Master would've put it..." Alex finished with his hand scratching his chin, a stubble had started to grew due to him being unable to shave, though he would later probably just use saimax's ability to change his shape to shave.

"yeah. i can understand that. having to know your weapon in order to use it properly. but i think im going to need a gun seeing as im average with strength so a long range weapon would probably be best."cynthia stopped and put the bag down taking out the ace bandage and starting to wrap her wrist. " i dont know if a sword would be the bestweapon for me either maybe something smaller than what you have but bigger than a pocket knife maybe." cynthia was glarring down at the wrapping that was refusing to cooperate with her and stay around her wrist. cynthia looked back up at arkz " maybe one about the size of my forarm. but i dont know how i would do with one bigger than that." cynthia gave up trying to wrap her wrist and stuffed the wrapping back into the bag grabbing the bag agian off the ground. "alright lets get going."

Alex slowly eyed the strange black man with the scyth, reaching for Saimax at his side and glaring at him. "Who the hell are you? and how do you know Cynthia?" Alex said with anger in his voice, his eyes slowly going to a red color. He slowly drew Saimax glaring into the large black man's eyes. "Hey Alex, I don't trust this guy... How does he know Cynthia? is he league with that one person form the motel?" Saimax asked but Alex stood his ground and spoke to saimax making him look crazy to those who couldn't hear Saimax. "I Think he might be... But I don't know... Cynthia do you know him?" Alex asked her.

"ya i do. so you can put you sword away. and no he isnt in legue with lavender. and he is a good guy." cynthia turned and gave arkz a look saying that there would be no fighting "arkz this is slade slade this is arkz arkz is a seer. slade is a hunter." cynthia's stomach growled agian, cyntia blushed and smiled at both slade and arkz. "sorry. uhm is jordan ok?" 

"I'm fine, Though I could've taken them myself" Alex said noticing the bodies behind Slade from where the strange man came from. "They don't look very tough, no tougher then a group of wolf-men, or even vampires, though out of everything regular people seem to give me the hardest time... they are such a pain to fight, give out to much blood as well." Alex finished then realized something. "And My name is Alexander Demonchaser, I go by Arkz or Alex though, which ever you're more comfortable saying and this here" he says pointing to the sword. "Is Saimax. He has an attitude problem.." he finishes.

"ya. were fine. its nice to see you agian jordan this is arkz. arkz this is jordan." cynthia gave the introductions hoping they would focus on each other. cynthia doesnt like alot of ttention on her and she didnt really want all of them to worry about her wrist...or her.

"we could go down to an old warehouse I found, I've been staying there for a couple of days, though my companion wouldn't stay there, she ran off somewhere..." Alex suggested scratching his chin feeling rather proud of his idea.
