"but you have to remember that it isnt accurate very rarely does what i see come to pass." cynthia started fidling with saimax on her wrist twisting him around and around her wrist. cynthia kept smiling at slade and as cynthia opened her mouth to ask slade a question her stomach growled quietly "so slade how about you where were you born?" cynthia asked folding her arms

"I'm from DC. I was raised mostly by my mom. I wish by my dad," Slade said in a slightly pained tone.

cynthia caught the tone in slades voice and didnt know what to make of it pain at not knowing his father or maybe he did know his father and his mother wasnt so nice cynthia didnt know and if it was painful she didnt want to ask. "so how is DC? whats it like?"

"so your mom put you on the track of a hunter? im sorry. you seem to take this life hard." cynthia stated

Saimax spoke up, as he had been quiet for awhile, "The Path of a Hunter is difficult and not for everyone, They go through strict training, almost as strict as what Alex had to go through, some even stricter depends on who they had as a teacher, though most hunters are highly skilled, many aren't gifted in combat and die in their first missions." Saimax finished always adding to the knowledge he learns from both of the two talking.

"oh. gosh i dont think i would be able to handle being a hunter. i take it you dont think kindly of rogues of any sort?" cynthia asked wondering if she would fall into the catagorie of a rogue.

"oh." cynthia twisted saimax around her wrist agian "hey slade can i get something to eat or drink?" cynthia asked remembering why she had ventured out in the first place.

"Yeah. Go ahead," Slade said as he started to calm down. "By the way some rogues I do care for. Sometimes I don't have the strength to kill them," he added trying to make sure he didn't say anything wrong.

"ok thanks." cynthia started walking past slade right as she got next to him cynthia said "maybe it wasnt the lack of strength that was the reason you didnt kill them." and cynthia walked out of the hall and throught the living room into the kitchen.

"It was more than that," Slade said to himself while hoping that he didn't lose her trust with what he said.

"cynthia opened the fridge and pulled out a soda and placing it on the counter she looked in the fridge for anything quick and easy to eat "lets see something easy. oh hey cheese sticks!" cynthia grabbed a cheese stick and the soda and returned to her room.

Saimax seemed to be in deep thought, thinking about everything that had just gone on out there, he then reached out for Alex but found he was asleep already.

"Thanks for the talk Cynthia. It feels nice to speak to another supernatural that isn't Jordan, or Cerah," Slade said as he watched her come back.

" ya no prob, honestly its good to talk to other supernaturals. iits an interesting topic." cynthia said opening her can and taking a sip.

"If you need anything let me know," Slade said expecting her to go to bed as he started walking away.

"ya sure."cynthia was suprised she had expected slade wanted to talk more. cynthia walked into the room and closed the door behind her. "well saimax is it just me or was the conversation kinda abruptly ended?" cynthia asked sitting on the bed balancing the pop between her calves and opening the cheese stick.

"Hmm I agree it did seem odd, perhapes they suspect you of something, or suspect me and Alex of something... given alex's past as a killer of all races it wouldn't surprise me, actually if anything he should be marked as a rogue..." Saimax said lowly enough so if anyone was listening only Cynthia could hear. "But whatever they are planning, good or bad, I have a feeling that we all just got sucked into a vortex of trouble."
