cynthia had stood frozen as alex had changed and as he had gotten rid of the lesser evil but as he had started to slash at her cynthia lunged forward and hugged alex. "alex its up to you! you can control your self believe in your self. by doing so you protect everything dear to you." cynthia held on for her life praying that maybe she could get through to alex  'well ive been doing alot of praying lately.' cynthia thought to herself for a split second.

"Why not embrace the shadows? You can harnass so much power," Lavendar said noticing Cynthia, and Alex together. This'll be a story to tell Slade, she thought with a slight smile.

Alex seemed to stop, his body seemed to decrease in size and scale, shifting back into normal, Cynthia's arms wrapped around his neck, he closed his eyes slowly feeling a warm tear roll down his face, as he hugged Cynthia back, He then opened his eyes and looked at Cynthia in her face, the black smoke had vanished, though his left eyes and was pitch black and had the pitch black smoke coming off of it.

cynthia smiled "see told ya you could do it!" cynthia was slightly shaking "you ok?" cynthia raised a hand from alex's neck and flipped off lavender focusing on alex

"Yeah, I feel fine... I feel for the first time in my life... In control..." Alex said looking at his hands backing away from Cynthia, then looking at Cynthia, with his pitch black eye, the smoke coming off of it he then spoke in a deep voice that caused the ground under Lavender to shake, "You mentioned a family member of mine! Who!" As he spoke the horns appeared again, and the pitch black wings sprouted, he then looked at his back, still in control.

cynthia sat down not wanting to get in another fight 'at least he is in control.'

"You don't scare me. Find out yourself," Lavendar said as she began to fade away from the area.

Alex let out a final roar in pure rage, he then fell to his knees and looked into the empty space and stood again and went to Cynthia and let his hand out to her, "I think it's time we leave this place... My mind... Unless you want to see my entire life..." Alex said quietly still holding his hand out.

cynthia took alex's hand standing up "well its your mind you control what i see...dont you?" cynthia smiled at alex "well lets get back i think we still might have time to go get your necklace

Alex just smiled and held gripped tightly on Cynthia's hand as they were devoured in a black smoke, fading from the safty of his mine, but into reality, back in control of their bodies.
